Police fund presentation.

I'm pleased to report that, thanks to hard work by John Badger, the West Midlands Police Authority has made an award to

Hill as a contribution towards replacing the top fence.  The photograph shows the presentation ceremony.  We shall shortly begin

the planning of the work.  It is our intention to replace the chain linking with steel palisade fencing.  If anyone has any experience

of this sort of thing or is prepared to offer help please contact a committee member.  More important, do you know where we

can get the material at a good price.

Bit of bad news.  If you've had a look at the BDAC site (click on the link above) you'll see that there are some horrendous rent increases

ahead.  The cost of plots will be as follows:-

mini plot                small(half) plot    full plot

2010/11            £12                         £22                  £28               These prices are for people who pay

2011/12           £20                        £30                   £40                the full rent.  Over 60's get it for half

2012/13           £30                        £45                    £60                price.

2013/14           £40                        £50                    £75                The early payment discount will be replaced

by a late payment penalty of £10

Wow!!!  I knew our plots were cheap but this is quite a shock.  Have you though of downsizing your plot?

Haydn has calculated, that people on the club house side of the site, should be able to move from full plot to small(half)

plot by giving up just the front quarter of their plot.  This would reduce the rent by about 25%. If you are thinking of downsizing please contact Haydn.

That's all for now folks (where have I heard that before?)
